Pet Supplies "Plus" stores offer a unique combination of features that deliver a rewarding shopping experience to our customers and their pets, while allowing our franchisees to control overhead and build profits. Our stores are clean, convenient, easy-to-shop, and well-stocked with the merchandise pet lovers want, all at competitive prices.

Neighborhood Stores
 Unlike our major competitors, which typically operate "big box" stores in power centers, PSP keeps its stores relatively small (under 10,000 square feet) and located in neighborhood  centers. Our stores are modeled after supermarkets, with their open, well-lit aisles, thematic displays and shopping carts.

Our supermarket concept not only makes PSP stores more pet-friendly and convenient, it also creates built-in efficiencies that allow our franchisees to enjoy healthy profits even in high cost, competitive markets. For example, since our stores are much smaller than the big boxes, we have lower real estate, utility, and insurance costs, which lowers our profit threshold.
Just-In-Time Deliveries
 Even though our stores are smaller, we maintain a selection that's every bit as broad as those of our competitors, thanks to our efficient Just-In-Time delivery and inventory system. Working with our established network of distributors, PSP stores receive deliveries once or twice a week, so they're able to offer a wide variety of products without using expensive store space to stock backup inventory.
This has proven to be a winning formula that has allowed PSP to earn the reputation of being "your pet's favorite store," while providing our franchisees with a great business opportunity.
