Almost 2/3 of every household in the United States owns at least one pet.  That’s over 71 Million households.  Pet owners today are spending more on their pets than ever before.  Pet Supplies are experiencing either the highest, or second highest annual growth rate of any retail category.  In 2008, Pet Supply spending is expected to exceed $42 Billion, and will likely grow to $50 Billion by 2010.
